of Whatcom County) now offers training for electricians.
Recurring classes for CEUs and/or classes for exam
preparation.

Electrician Pre-Exam,
Part 1 (8 CEU). This
class provides an in-depth overview of all articles of
the NEC, as well an overview of WAC 296-46B & RCW 19.28.

Electrician Pre-Exam,
Part 2 (8 CEU). This
class an
in-depth review of NEC major calculations.

2005 NEC Update &
Review (8 CEU). This class provides an in-depth
overview of updated code articles and related calculations used
in practical day-to-day installations.

WAC/RCW Update & Review
(4 CEU). This class provides an in-depth overview of the
current WAC 296-46B and RCW 19.28.

Worksite Safety and WISHA
Standards (4 CEU). This class provides an
in-depth overview of WISHA Safety & Health rules, jobsite safety
meeting requirements, employee discrimination protection as it
relates to safety issues, and clarifications related to the
hiring of independent contractors in Washington State.
We will notify you of the registration process when a class
is scheduled if you have requested a class. Classes are scheduled based on the number of
requests received for a specific course. Complete
the Class Request
Form if you want to be added to the class request list.
When a sufficient number of requests have been received we will
schedule a class and notify you of the registration and payment
process.
Thursday's (5:00 PM) prior to the class (see exception
below)
This is the time we use to determine if the class will be
cancelled due to insufficient registrations.
EXCEPTION
The registration completion or cancellation deadline for
the Electrician Pre-Exam,
Part 2 class is two weeks prior to the
class scheduled date to allow for book orders. (Note: The
price of the book is not refundable after the class deadline)

- Class Start Time: All classes start on
scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to
attend. We encourage you arrive 15 minutes prior to
the class start time. If you are registering for the class
on the same day as the class you should allow for more time to
complete the registration. (Note: This does not apply to
the "Electrician Pre-Exam, Part 2" course since it has a 2-week prior to class date
registration deadline.
- Minimum Class Size: 5 participants. We reserve
the right to reschedule or cancel a class that has insufficient
registrations.
- Maximum Class Size: 20 participants. Due to
high demand we may schedule additional class dates for a class.
- Class Location: TBD
- Class Breaks and Lunch: Full day class include two
10-minute breaks and a 40-minute lunch. Half-day classes
include one 10-minute break.
Please contact us if
need a class to be conducted at your location or desire a
different schedule (e.g.., weekday evening class).

Your success, passed exam, is our goal. If you attend
the
Electrician Pre-Exam,
Part 1 or Electrician Pre-Exam,
Part 2 class and do not pass the associated
exam you may attend the scheduled class again at no cost.
