Solving Quality Problems

This workshop examines a four-step problem-solving process with a clear set of guidelines participants can use to analyze problems and see solutions. Participants learn how to avoid two major pitfalls of quality improvement teams: getting derailed in the problem-solving process and jumping to the wrong solution. They explore the value of creating specific action plans and of following up to keep plans on track. It also covers performance appraisals and ways to help employees examine their own performance and commit to improved results.

A program that shows managers new ways to analyze problems, recognize opportunities and make decisions based on high-quality information and a range of ideas. The flexible process works for complex as well as short-term problems, for high- and low-risk decisions, whether the manager is working alone or on a team.
