Prerequisites

A knowledge of personal computer fundamentals, experience in working within the Microsoft Windows environment, a reasonable degree of keyboard proficiency and experience in using a mouse.

Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Add an entry to the Outlook Express Address Book

  • Send an e-mail message

  • Respond to an e-mail message

  • Subscribe to a newsgroup

  • Post a newsgroup article

  • Respond to a newgroup message

  • Download a file from an FTP site

  • Use security certificates and security zones

  • View Web pages offline
