Prerequisites

A knowledge of personal computer fundamentals, experience in working within the Microsoft Windows environment, a reasonable degree of keyboard proficiency and experience in using a mouse.

• Schedule a computer task to run automatically.

• Create a shortcut on your desktop.

• Run a program from the Start menu.

• Create a document.

• Save a document.

• Copy data between two programs.

• Link and embed data from one program into another.

• Run accessory programs from the Accessories menu.

• Create a shortcut for a printer.

• Print a document.

• Examine printer properties.

• Modify a folder’s appearance.

• Modify Windows’ appearance.
